It is obvious that Stone does not want to commit to strategy until he has to. That is to say that the Rockets are not going to confirm “going for it” or a “full rebuild” at this point.
Accordingly the Rockets will not want to over pay for a big, and likely are looking for bigs that can be a part of the now and future. That makes a trade harder to make.
This injury potentially may make the decision for the Rockets concerning what they do for the rest of the season…. but lets wait for the results.
I personally did not think it looked all that bad, but Bullard did and Stephen Silas seemed really concerned.
